IAD Press hosts the first ever Sharing Our Stories – Anwerne-kenhe Ayeye Festival to celebrate national Indigenous Literacy Day on 7 September.

A feast for the eyes and ears! See and hear Indigenous storytellers from the heart of Australia share their culture through spoken word, art and song. Come and hear IAD Press authors Yami Lester OAM, Kathleen Kemarre Wallace and Judy Lovell as they share their stories.

See the colourful and quirky exhibition of text-based contemporary art capturing the lives and stories of Tangentyere Artists’ town camp artists.

You can try your own creativity: writing and media workshops will be held during the morning.
